Lead the Way: Become a Team Captain at SterlingFest 2024!
SterlingFest 2024 is right around the corner, and we’re looking for six adult volunteers to take on a crucial leadership role as Team Captains. This is a unique opportunity to help guide a group of teens in specific areas during the festival, ensuring everything runs smoothly for vendors and visitors alike.
As a Team Captain, you’ll work closely with your group of four teen volunteers, directing them in their assigned areas, and serving as a point of contact for both teens and vendors. To fully prepare for this important role, Team Captains are required to attend SterlingFest planning meetings to learn the details of the festival and understand the event process.
We’re looking for volunteers who are:
Outgoing and friendly, with the ability to lead and guide others
Comfortable giving direction to both vendors and teens
Organized and detail-oriented, ensuring each area is covered efficiently
